About Dr Anwar
Dr Anwar qualified in Rehabilitation Medicine from Glasgow in 2011 and finished his training by achieving a one-year fellowship in chronic pain management in Glasgow. He has worked as Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine in Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since 2012.
He runs the rapid access acute rehabilitation unit within the Addenbrooke’s Hospital Major Trauma Centre. His main areas of interests are; early and acute rehabilitation, pain management, complex spasticity management and musculoskeletal consequences of the neurological conditions.
He is an expert botulinum toxin injector and has skill in managing complex spasticity with phenol nerve and motor point blocks. Dr Anwar has published extensively and has been invited speaker in various national and international conferences.
